It’s finally been confirmed that Marvel’s Sorcerer Supreme will in fact be showing up in Thor: Ragnarok.
In a preview for D23 members of Disney’s plans for the year, it was mentioned that Thor: Ragnarok will be bringing together Thor, The Hulk and Doctor Strange to face down intergalactic foes, both familiar and new.
This isn’t a surprise given that leaked set photos showed Chris Hemsworth’s Thor holding a piece of paper with Strange’s address. This was followed by a mid-credits scene from Doctor Strange where Strange offers his assistance to Thor to find the missing Odin.
But the big question now is how big will Benedict Cumberbatch’s role be in the film. It could very well be more than just a cameo but we’re not certain at this point.
Thor: Ragnarok is expected to hit theaters 3 November 2017.
