Japan’s famous discount store chain Don Quijote is opening it’s very first Southeast Asian outlet in Singapore, and we’re suitably jealous.

Don Quijote, also known as “Donki” in Japan has been running since 1989, and has 350 stores in Japan alone.

The franchise is most known for offering products at discount prices, with the Singaporean branch to also offer “cool Japanese products”. The store is known for having a wide variety of goods and some branches even open 24 hours.

The new store will also be a development center for the brand in the region, so this might mean they will have other outlets cropping up (come to Malaysia, please?) in neighboring countries.

They haven’t detailed the exact opening date for the store in Orchard but it will be announced at a later date. Hopefully, it’s not too far off!
