Japanese Cinema City updated their website with the first listing of the Dragon Ball Z 2015 movie. The movie is scheduled for airing on 25 April 2015 and running time is around 120 minutes. This will be 15th installment of the franchise.
According to Akira Toriyama, the creator of the franchise, this movie will be an original story just like the 14th movie, Dragon Ball Z Movie 14: Battle of Gods. The mangaka is very fussy with the movie even over the smallest detail, but he teases that the story will be “utterly funny” and “very action packed”. He will personally be handling character design, screenplay and concept of the movie as well. Toriyama added that his usually taciturn first editor actually praised him for this project. Directing duties will be handled by Tadayoshi Yamamuro, a veteran who did his work on Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT before.
