Dwayne Johnson is looking to have a really jam packed year this year with the amount of filming he’s gonna be in, as its been just announced that he’ll be making a return for the upcoming San Andreas sequel.

As of the moment, Johnson is filming season 2 of HBO’s Ballers, then he will be on set for Baywatch, Fast & Furious 8 and a live action adaptation of the game Rampage.

The film will be seeing the retun of Bray Peyton as well as Carla GUgino, Alexandra Daddario, Paul Giamatti as well as Johnson. Neil WIdener and Gavin James will be in for the script.

Plot details for the new installment are being sheltered, but the sequel is expanding the disaster locales by going global, focusing on the infamous Ring of Fire. The ring circles the Pacific Ocean with fault lines and volcanoes and, according to scientists, is home to about 90 percent of the worlds’ earthquakes.

From what it looks like, they’re going to be taking the premise of the first movie and making it even bigger. But then just how much bigger can a devastating earthquake be? We don’t quite know what’s coming next but the sequel probably won’t have us shaking in anticipation.
