Not long ago, the Taiwanese company sent out invites to the grand launch of ‘something’ on 1 March 2015, during MWC 2015 at Barcelona. Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg, two highly respected sources saying it is indeed the event where they will introduce the HTC One M9 Hima in official capacity with a mysterious wearable product. However, we might get an early look on how the new flagship model will look like thanks to this French site.
This site, Nowhereelse leaked two photos that are supposed of a new HTC flagship model, the M9 Hima. However, it should be noted that the site has a mixed record on their accuracy so take this news with a pinch of salt. Now let’s get on with the information.
The photos are showing a conservative approach similar to their earlier models by the Taiwanese company which confirms reports that they did not intend to have any radical approach to the design for the M9. The other picture, however, shows something interesting. The back camera lens is different from the M8, which shows a square shape. This might confirm the rumours that the HTC did not use its Ultrapixel technology again. Instead, it could be a 20MP rear camera as rumoured before by another leak last year.
The French site as already withdrawn the pictures, but it is too late, after all, this is the Internet.
