Looks like Edge of Tomorrow is getting itself a sequel, as revealed by director Doug Liman in an interview earlier this week.

Liman dropped the news in an interview with Collider; and revealed that the new film will be titled Live Die Repeat and Repeat. He hasn’t revealed much else in the way of new information, but he notes that the film’s production is “not an if, it’s a when”.

The sequel’s title harks back to the first film’s Live.Die.Repeat tagline, which you can see in the image above.

Liman is also directing the sequel, with Erwin Stoff and Tom Lassally to produce. Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse are writing for the sequel, with screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie in talk to be a producer for the film, while he develops the script alongside Shrapnel and Waterhouse.

Edge of Tomorrow is based on the novel All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka, which has spawned a one-volume full graphic novel and manga.
