Koei Tecmo, makers of the Musou series where you can wipe out armies of mooks single-handedly has announced the Arslan Senki version of it. Titled Arslan Senki x Musou/ アルスラーン戦記×無双 or Arslan Senki: The Warriors of Legend in the international market , it is set to be available for PlayStation 3 and 4 plus newly a announced Xbox One version. Basically it is Arslan Senki anime series using the Sengoku Musou engine.
Owners of a PlayStation 3 can only obtain digital copy only whereas latest generation of console owners (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) can opt either for the digital download or normal boxed version.
The game is set for release in Japan first on 17 September 2015 whereas the developer just announced the game will be coming to the Western market sometime in early 2016. The retail pricing for Japanese market is around 7800 Yen (RM$240) in normal boxed version whereas digital copy is 6762 Yen (RM$208). Of course, there is a limited edition for the real hardcore fans with money to splash, the Arslan Senki x Musou TREASURE BOX will be priced around 12,800 Yen (RM$394). The special edition contains official book, soundtrack CD, Crystal Frame stand and a cleaner cloth.
