Brock Rumlow as portrayed by Frank Grillo was seen wearing his outfit as Crossbones during filming at Atlanta. This means he is confirmed to be back to cause more mayhem in Captain America: Civil War. In the previous movie, he was rescued from the rubble of former S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ after a man to man fight with Anthony Mackie’s Falcon during the climax of the movie. First, let’s take a look at the original design from the comics:

Now, here is the movie’s version of Crossbones who is fully decked and looks menacing:

Frank Grillo himself put this picture up on his Instagram. Besides this, the actor and Captain America’s Chris Evans took part in some mock smack talk ala WWE superstars on Twitter much to the amusement of the fans:

The Captain, not taking this lying down, responded with gusto:

Perhaps Crossbones will partner with Baron Zemo (David Bruhl) to lay down some hammer of villainy on Captain America? We do not know who will be the dominant villain but this image suggesting that he means business, not playing around for sure.

Oh, Just Jared released a slew of images showing Falcon and Captain America going through the film shooting at Atlanta too. Here are the samples:
