The Avengers: Age of Ultron teaser trailer is finally up and it looks good indeed. The highlight of the clip is the Anti Hulk variant of Iron Man going rock and roll against the Hulk himself. This promises to be a sweet encounter between two behemoths.
Scheduled for 1 May 2015 release, the movie is scripted and directed by Joss Wheldon. He stated that this movie is not a page by page, faithful adaptation of the Age of Ultron comic book series. The entire ensemble cast is back with a few new faces : Robert Downey Jnr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlet Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Conie Smudlers, James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Paul Bettany. Additional casting includes Don Cheadle, Hayley Atwell, Thomas Kretschmann and Stellan Skarsgard reprise their respective roles from Marvel Universe movies. Claudia Kim and Andy Serkis rounds up the casting roll of the movie.
The premise of the movie is after the destruction of the S.H.I.E.L.D as shown in Captain America The Winter Soldier. The superheroes need to recover from the New York incident so Tony Stark decides to activate Ultron, a self aware and self learning AI as an interim peacekeeper. However the plan goes awry when the AI decides that humans are the enemy and attempts to eliminate them from the planet. Along the way, the team encounters the Maximoff twins and the Vision.
Principal shooting started on February 2014 and concluded on 8 August 2014 according to Joss Wheldon. This movie is already poised to be the summer movie of 2015.
