While we have no idea if any of these roster leaks are true, these are generally very bad for the teams involved because lineup reveals are opportunities to promote team sponsors (and reveal new merch line-ups).
Leaks pretty much take the hype out of everything, especially when it comes to getting hype for sponsors so everyone involved pretty much loses out. Teams might have to be tighter lipped now to avoid future gaffs of this sort.
But it’s not entirely without a silver lining though, as any bit of information that makes it on to the ‘net is likely to fuel speculation on social media and thus sort of generate its own hype fuel.
Regardless of whether the leaks are in fact true, what do you think of the roster lineup? let us know in the comments!
