Nintendo recently revealed a brand new trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors (Fire Emblem Musou) for the Nintendo 3DS and the Switch.
The new video features gameplay footage, characters as well as additional info about the game’s extra downloadable content.
The game actually shipped for both consoles on 28 September in Japan but the English version only ships this Friday.
Nintendo will be releasing three DLC packs for the game, each themed on a different game in the franchise:
- Fire Emblem Fates – Dec 2017
- Shadow Dragon – Feb 2018
- Awakening – March 2018
Each pack will contain new playable characters, weapons, costumes, scenarios and support conversations. For those who want to purchase the season pass, you will also get a bonus costume.
As the story goes, the Kingdom of Aitriss is suddenly engulfed in darkness, and an otherworldly gate appears in the case. The castle soon falls under the creatures that spill forth and darkness slowly encroaches upon the kingdom. However, not all is lost as the prince and princess Shion and Liane managed to escape and they possess a thread that ties together the destiny of heroes.
Bearing the Shield of Fire granted to them by their mother, their journey to confront the powerful darkness begins.
Playable characters include:
- Marth, Tiki, Caeda from Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light
- Robin (male and female), Chrom, Lissa, Frederick, Cordelia, and Lucina from Fire Emblem Awakening
- Corrin (male and female), Ryoma, Hinoka, Takumi, Sakura, Xander, Camilla, Leo, and Elise from Fire Emblem Fates
