We have a first look at Warcraft movie and boy, it looks awesome.

Actor Robert Karzinsky (Pacific Rim, True Blood) has been cast as Orgrim the Orc warrior/warchief and director Duncan Jones (Moon) has started showing off how the character looks like in the upcoming movie. Orgrim is described as the “right hand” of the Orc boss of Frostwolf clan, Durotan, as acted by Toby Kebbell. What’s more, he is “a brave warrior destined to wield the Doomhammer: a weapon of orc legend,” according to the official description.

To realize the character, ILM combined scans and photos of the actor merged it with imagery from the game’s Orgrim for the final product. Based on their success on bringing out the humanity of the Hulk in Age of Ultron, this should be the best Orc character ever depicted in the cinemas, maybe even better than Peter Jackson’s Middle Earth Orcs. The director commented, “We’ve gone beyond the point where these are just creatures in movies. We now have the technology and the ability to make new characters entirely.”

Apparently, the actor’s physicality and presence is universal, he is has been cast as Frankestein in another project with FOX channel TV pilot. Besides the big guy, other confirmed Warcraft cast are such names as Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Paula Patton (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol), Dominic Cooper (Agent Carter), Ruth Negga (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Ben Foster (Lone Survivor), and Clancy Brown (The Flash). The director revised the original draft by Charles Leavitt (Seventh Son) which received a lot of praise from the cast as well as outsiders as well.
Warcraft will hit the cinemas on 10 June 2016.
