Supreme X Akira main

Earlier this month, we alerted you all to a potential collaboration between streetwear Supreme and Katsuhiro Otomo. The potential Supreme x Akira collaboration may have been hinted at by Otomo but never really confirmed. However, all that uncertainty can now be washed away as the official announcement for Supreme Akira has now been made.

And it’s not just the confirmation that was announced but the unveiling of the entire collection as well. The Supreme x Akira collection is pretty comprehensive, comprising of Hooded Sweatshirts, Zip-Up Hooded Sweatshirts, Fishtail Parkas, a Work Jacket, Coveralls, Jacquard Long Sleeve Tops, various Short Sleeve T-shirts, a Long Sleeve T-Shirt, a 5-Panel Hat, two Decks, a plate and a tray.

All of them bear artwork from the Akira manga which takes centre stage for most of the collection while the Supreme logo does make an appearance, though a little more subtly. It’s only a lot more apparent on the none wearable stuff like the plates and skate decks.

So when can you get your hands on these incredibly hyped anime and streetwear collaboration collection? They’ll be dropping in physical stores New York, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, London and Paris on November 2, while Japan gets it a few days later on November 4. As for price? Well considering it’s Supreme, what more a collaboration collection, just be prepared to pay a pretty penny for each one of them.
