Zootopia 2
With news about the next Zootopia movie already confirmed, we have to wonder if this truly is an attempt to expand the movie’s universe and story or is it just another case of Disney trying its best to cash in on one of it’s latest hits?
As many of Disney movies go, there tends to be sequels (and spinoffs, I’m looking at you Tangled and Frozen) so I can’t say a sequel was totally unexpected, especially since Disney had a tendency to churn out direct-to-DVD movie sequels for quite a lot of their more popular titles.
They’ve also hinted that protagonists Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps will be more than friends in the sequel (sorry shippers, that ship has sailed!) the producers are pretty excited about the project though, but we’re just hoping that their return doesn’t bring us more questions than we had in the first place.
