Magical girls (or at least they’re somewhat magical girls), music and sci-fi. That about sums up the Symphogear anime franchise and now, a fourth season has been confirmed for the series.
Details are still pretty sparse as the announcement was just made at the Symphogear Live 2016 event at Tokyo’s Nippon Budōkan. What little details we had include a somewhat confirmed return of the serie’s art setting designer Thomas Romain. Though not formally confirmed, he did tease that he will be involved in the project.
He’s not the only one alluding their involvement. Animation director Yoshiyuki Okubo has also hinted that he might be involved in the project as well. Until an official statement on crew and cast has been released by Studio Satelight thought, all of these “teases” are just speculation. We’ll be keeping track on who else will be involved as more info comes in so stay tuned!
