Fox has ordered a pilot for a new live-action X-Men series, in partnership with Marvel.
Showrunner Matt Nix will be behind the show, which is currently unnamed but goes by “Untitled Marvel Action-Adventure Series” which follows two parents who are on the run after discovering their children are mutants.
The series will be set in a period where the government is hostile towards mutants, and they will do whatever they have to survive, along with other similar families they meet along the way.
Aside from acknowledging the events of the movies, the show will also incorporate some form of Sentinels, which are mutant-hunting robots. They would be smaller in scale compared to what we’ve seen on the big screen however, we’re still expecting them to be relatively large.
No real word on who is getting cast for the series or when it might air, so here’s hoping we find out more soon.
