Heads up fans, Mustang’s costume as worn by Dean Fujioka for the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist movie will be displayed at Tokyo Comic Con. And as a cherry on the cake, the movie’s general release date has been announced.

Set to premiere in Japan in December 2017, the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist movie will have Mustang’s costume up for show at the Tokyo Comic Con. It looks remarkably similar to that in the anime and manga, so they’ve been putting extra effort in keeping faithful to the source material.

The movie sets out to tell the story of the whole manga in one fell swoop, but they’ve made some small changes with Ed being aged up to 20 years old. They released a teaser some time back.

The cast for Full Metal Alchemist includes Ryosuke Yamada (member of boy band Hey! Say! JUMP) as protagonist Edward Elric, Tsubasa Honda (Kishūteneki Terminal) as sidekick Winry Rockbell, and Dean Fujioka (The Pinkertons) as Elric’s superior officer, Colonel Roy Mustang.

Other actors confirmed for the film are Natsuna Watanabe as Maria Ross, Jun Kunimura as Doctor Marco, Kanata Hongou as Envy, and Kenjiro Ishimaru as Father Cornello.
