The much anticipated sixth season of HBO’s Game of Thrones is bringing back an old character in a brand new capacity, and no it ain’t Jon Snow.
Bran Stark, one of the younger characters is coming back after being absent for a whole season, and has grown up a bit in the meantime.
Bran now is 16 years old and is sporting a shorter haircut, with Entertainment Weekly saying that the character is now around six feet tall.
The last time we saw him was in the season four finale for Game if Thrones where they were attacked by the undead. We won’t say more (in case you haven’t actually watched it up to this point yet) but it does involve the three-eyed raven.
However, the character has been recast for season six to be played by Max von Sydow, who also did a fair bit of narration in the most recent teaser trailer.
Season six of Game of Thrones will premiere in April 2016.
