Game of Thrones final season has just gotten even shorter.

It’s not looking good for the last season for, HBO’s popular show Game of Thrones as they’ve just revealed that we’ll be only getting a few episodes instead of a full season.

Previously, it was mentioned that season seven will only be seven episodes long, but the next season has taken one to the knee and has one episode less. However, it’s not because there is a shortage of material (due to wandering off the available written works by George R.R. Martin). They’ve split up the episodes so the other show writers Dave Hill and Bryan Cogman will be taking episodes one and two for the last season. Weiss and Benioff will be dividing up the rest them.

Game of Thrones season seven is set to debut 16 July 2017.
