7. Neverending Nightmares
Neverending Nightmares is a fairly new psychological horror game that takes the genre to the next level. Presented in a dreary 2D style, the game pretty much explores nightmares inspired by the creator’s OCD and depressive states. The result is a morbid, gory and downright scary adventure as the protagonist struggles to wake up to reality.
It’s disturbing as it is terrifying, and has multiple branching story paths so you’ll be getting a lot more mileage out of your playthroughs. Just be prepared for lots and lots of blood.
