9. The Evil Within
Oh, where do we even start with The Evil Within. Much like Outlast, The Evil Within has all the makings of a great survival horror game, with beautifully crafted horror elements and great pacing. You literally get everything from heart pounding boss battles with monstrous horrors, stealth, the convoluted decent into madness plus a neat sprinkling of mad scientist sci-fi tropes.
The game will constantly lob newer, tougher and more terrifying things at you while you wade through the gore for a spine chilling yet satisfying experience.
