Yes you heard that right, Disney Infinity 3.0 is going to feature a little bit of Kingdom Hearts : Sora’s keyblade, the Kingdom Key.
As much as the move appears to be an attempt to pull in KH fans but the unlockable does come at a rather incredible price; it will unlock only if you own every single figure for the game. Every last one. For fans that actually made it to the D23 expo, Disney gave out special power discs that unlocks the King Mickey costume from Kingdom Hearts.
Previous “ultimate unlocks” included Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber for the first version of Disney Infinity and his landspeeder for Disney Infinity 2.0. It may seem a bit crazy but there do exist fans out there who will gun for their fave collectibles regardless of the cost; and lets admit it, the figures for Disney Infinity are pretty nice figurines to collect even if you don’t own the game.
The new update to the franchise will include a huge heap of new characters from Star Wars : The Force Awakens, The Good Dinosaur, Zootopia and Peter Pan; on top of Light FX Star Wars figures that are aimed at collectors.
Disney Infinity 3.0 is set for an 30 August release and will also have a special Darth Vader PlayStation 4 Bundle that comes with the new game.
