The spirit of vengeance will be making an appearance in the next season of Marvel’s Agent of SHIELD. If you’re expecting Johnny Blaze however, you’ll be disappointed, as the version of Ghost Rider in the show will be the most recent iteration of the character, Roberto “Robbie” Reyes.
While many of us would’ve love to see a motorcycle riding Spirit of Vengeance blaze his way through the Marvel TV universe (and to wipe away the memories of the Nicolas Cage movies), the blazing car of Reyes works too.
Gabriel Luna, the actor from Matador, will be wielding the chains of the Spirit of Vengeance and whether he will be part of the SHIELD team and a regular cast has yet to be confirmed.
The announcement came at the end of the Agents of SHIELD San Diego Comic-Con 2016 panel with supporting Twitter announcements.

According to Marvel:
Season 4 will unquestionably be the series’ biggest, most ambitious story yet, and it all begins with the introduction of one of our greatest legacy characters in Ghost Rider. When the Spirit of Vengeance rides into S.H.I.E.L.D., it’ll change everything.
