Lego keeps going from strength to strength. Not only does Lego have products centered around Star Wars, comic books, and the like, it looks like this company may now be working on a Gilmore Girls Luke’s Diner Lego set.
Now, don’t start playing the air-guitar in celebration yet as this is still just an IDEA, for now. Lego allows its fans to submit original ideas for new sets and one hardcore fan, Rainer Zufall, decided he would bless the world with his vision of Lego Lorelai. At the end of last month, Zufall submitted his design which features fully furnished Luke’s Diner, along with six of everybody’s favourite Stars Hollow characters. And guess what? It even comes with the iconic “No Cell Phones” sign.
On the official Lego ideas page, Zufall discussed how he came up with this idea in the first place:
Because my wife is a really big Gilmore Girls fan and she asked me to build Luke’s Diner for her.
If you simply cannot imagine your life without this Gilmore Girls set, go support Rainer Zufall and his brilliant idea! The idea will need to reach 10,000 followers in order to make it to Lego for an official review and potential approval.
