There’s new teaser videos out for Production I.G’s Ghost in the Shell The New Movie Virtual Reality Diver VR experience, check it out here.
The two teasers are a hearty glimpse at the upcoming VR experience, which was showcased via a similar trailer at Tokyo Game Show 2015 a few months ago.
The first teaser shows in good old 2D and the other shows in stereoscopic 3D with an adjustable 360 point view for those using hardware like Google Cardboard. The second teaser is a fair bit longer than the 1st one so you might want to check it out if you do have a Cardboard.
The final work will run for 10 minutes with an original story; all in glorious 360° 3D video on any VR enabled headset you own. The experience will be available next February and the app will retail for 480 yen (about RM 16).
Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie hit the cinemas in Japan in June this year, and having this additional bit of content looks pretty awesome, if the teasers are anything to show for it. You can check them out both below, though they might be slightly NSFW for partial nudity.
