God Eater 2 Rage Burst puts you a team to take down the massive Aragami threatening the world, the timeline taking place three years after God Eater Resurrection. The world is in the grips of a fatal pandemic called the Black Plague, following a mysterious red rain that infects the populace. With no cure and a 100% mortality rate once infected, you become a member of the Special Unit “Blood”, who are sent to investigate and assist.

What’s new for God Eater 2 is that there are over 400+ Blood Arts you can learn in the game, which in turn enhance God Arcs (aka those huge weapons) by adding attributes to attacks on top of their already devastating abilities.
