CBS is featuring a series about this: What happens when all of Earth’s animals turn on the human race, dogs and cats killing together?

No, we are not joking. The series is called Zoo.

Based on James Patterson’s 2012 novel, the series stars Bob James Wolk (Mad Men) as the “renegade zoologist” (we have no idea what that means) Jackson Oz, Nora Arnezerder as Chloe Tousignant, Noso Anozie (Game of Thrones), Kristen Connolly (House of Cards) and Billy Burke (Twlight).

From what we can see from the trailer is all animals, be it domesticated or wild, began to coordinate or conspiring with each other to destroy humans around the world. Dogs gang up on people, house cats stalk their human prey from the trees and lions hunt our heroes The Ghost and The Darkness style. CBS executive, Scott Rosenberg is enthusiastic about it, “We want the whole world to fear their Schnauzer. Then we’ve done our job right.

Official synopsis by CBS reads like this:

In the series, a wave of violent animal attacks against humans begin taking place across the globe. As the assaults become more cunning, coordinated and ferocious, a young renegade biologist (James Wolk) is thrust into the race to unlock the pandemic’s mystery before there’s no place left for people to hide.

13 episodes is ready to make your cute cuddly Chihuahuas and Persian cats looks scary to audiences in this June.
