Sorry, Potterites, Rowling’s eighth Harry Potter story, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child may be making its way to the books, but not to the cinema.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a play set to premiere this Summer in London’s West End, set 19 years after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
“While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.”
However, there is another movie to look forward to; Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Its just been confirmed that the movie will be the first in a trilogy of movies so that should sate your need for more Potter movies.
You heard wrong, I’m afraid. #CursedChild is a play. #FantasticBeasts will be 3 movies, though! https://t.co/7tvw4rolcR
