The Super NES (or Super Nintendo as some of us knew it) was THE console many of us late 80s and early 90s kids grew up playing. So, when Nintendo announced that they were releasing the SNES Classic, it no surprise that many of us were extremely excited.
With the SNES Classic hitting stores worldwide, some of you in Malaysia might be wondering, just where can you get the mini console. To help out we’ve listed just some of the avenues, both online and off that you’ll be able to get your hands on this awesome mini console.
Do note that prices will vary from store to store so we’ve listed down each store’s price of the unit as well. Also, most of the stores listed are based in the Klang Valley so if you know any non-Klang Valley store that has it, do let us know
Gamer’s Hideout
Price: RM599
One of the biggest gaming retailers in Malaysia, it’s no surprise that Gamer’s Hideout would be stocking up on the SNES Classic for their customers.
According to their Facebook page, they already have stock for the units in their stores so you can head over to any of branches (all located in the Klang Valley) to get your hands on.
Too lazy to drive or walk, you can also order it online from them via their website here. Just be prepared to pay additional for delivery.

Impulse Gaming

Impulse gaming is another gaming retailer that pretty well known in Malaysia with a pretty good following of regular customers. An update on both their Johor and Sunway branch pages, they have stock for walk-in customers but they are limited in number.
Considering the price for their units, it’s no surprise since it’s RM100 cheaper than Gamer’s Hideout. So if you’re going to do a walk-in buy with them, you might want to head over there NOW!
And while they do have an online page, they don’t seem to have the SNES Classic mini listed.

GameOn is currently a one branch shop that operates out from Starling Mall in Petaling Jaya and also has a webstore you can purchase from. We couldn’t confirm if you could purchase the units in store, even after a check on their Facebook page, but a check on their web page showed that they you could order the SNES Classic mini from them.
However, judging by their price, they seem to be the priciest of all the retailers we’ve listed here so far so you might want to consider them if either Impulse and Gamer’s Hideout run out of stock.

Some of you might be wondering, why aren’t online sites like Lazada or 11Street listed, it’s because, based on our search, none of them has the SNES Classic Mini listed.
