Looks like there isn’t going to be a Season 2 for Heroes Reborn, and this is a strange announcement considering the series is still on the air.
The finale is still set to air next week, with NBC confirmed to reporters that there are no plans for a second season. This is doubly odd because the whole idea behind reviving the series is to well, have a series.
Network head Bob Greenblat elaborates:
“As far as I know there are no more incarnations of Heroes coming…unless [Series Creator] Tim Kring woke up one day and said “Oh, I have another chapter to tell”. I think we’re coming to the end…of the World, maybe. Stay tuned.
The final episode will apparently run on 21 January.
