3. Fake your GPS location
To do this you’ll need two apps. A GPS faking app, and LuckyPatcher. In our case, the GPS faking app we used was Fake GPS Location Pro. The GPS faking app is as you’d know by now, to fake your location and Lucky Patcher is to set the app as a system app. Here’s how you do it:
1. Run the Lucky Patcher app and search for the Fake GPS Location Pro.
2. Once you find the Fake GPS Location Pro entry tap on it, then go to Tools > Move to System App, and then click yes.
3. Voila, you’re done. Now, reboot your Android device, pray to the gods of Google your device doesn’t brick. Once you see your device successfully boot up, REJOICE!
Now you have to fake your GPS location. Run Fake GPS Location Pro. Open up the settings and tick expert mode. You should now be able to spoof your location. Just set your location to the desired country like Australia, USA, Japan, etc.. and engage the location spoof. Run the Pokemon GO app and voila; it should detect you in that particular country.
We recommend keeping yourself indoors so that the device doesn’t pick up GPS signals and make you hop countries. A simple way to block the GPS signals is to make an aluminium covered box (shown below) as a Faraday cage, which you can put your device in to block the signals. However, if you really want to be safe, you can totally disable your GPS hardware. Which brings us to our next step.
