HyppTV, one of Malaysia’s top IPTV services has just gotten together with DreamWorks for a DreamWorks dedicated channel just for kids. Aimed at ages 6 to 12, the kids and family friendly channel is available on HyppTV Channel 550 with two months of free viewing for all subscribers starting 10 September 2015.
Malaysia is the second country in Asia to enjoy the channel, with was also launched in Thailand last month.
Commenting on the launch, Jeremy Kung, Executive Vice President, New Media, TM said, “We are excited to bring DreamWorks to our subscribers; a brand new, never before seen channel in Malaysia; now available on HyppTV channel 550. DreamWorks offers fresh world class animation series for HyppTV customers that can be enjoyed not only by the kids, but the whole family, giving our customers an enhanced wholesome family viewing experience. At HyppTV, we will continue to bring Malaysian viewers with exciting, unique world-class content to fulfill our subscribers’ demands.”
The channel will feature signature original series which include Emmy-award winning series All Hail king Julien of Madagascar fame, The Adventures of Puss in Boots starring the titular feline from Shrek and Dragons: Race to the Edge, inspired by the original How to Train Your Dragon films. More titles are expected to join the lineup early next year, with Casper’s Scare School and original series Dinotrux already set to come.
Last but not least, the channel will also have a daily morning preschool block called DreamWorks Junior, which will feature productions like Raa Raa The Noisy Lion and Guess with Jess.
