Nintendo recently showed off some new stuff for their upcoming Hyrule Warriors Legends for Nintendo 3DS, and it will include characters as well as additional limited edition swag for certain markets.
Who is the new character you ask? it’s none other than Linkle, who is essentially a genderbent version of Link. She isn’t new though, as she has already cropped up in the official art book for the game, which described Linkle as a “female version of Link”
Other characters also announced were Toon Link, Tetra from Wind Waker, the King of Hyrule as well as Skull Kid from Majora’s Mask.
Hyrule Warriors Legends 3DS is basically a port to the 3DS of the original Hyrule Warriors game for the Wii U. The game was developed by Team ninja and KOEI Tecmo’s Omega Force team (who are also responsible for the Dynasty Warriors series). The game is expected to hit Japan 21 January and 25 March 2016 for the English speaking portion of the globe.
Europe will also receive a limited edition with a really cool compass, which makes us rather jealous. You can check it out below:
