That green planet-conquering Ikren is making a comeback with a brand new TV movie, with the show’s original voice cast!
The news came via Nick Animation’s Twitter account, which also dropped this teaser below:
The new Invader Zim movie will once again be pitting Zim against his arch-nemesis Dib as he tries to invade earth and impress the Almighty Tallest. Invader Zim originally aired for two seasons between 2001 and 2006 on Nickelodeon, with the show getting canceled prior to the end of the second season. There were plans to have a series finale TV movie but unfortunately, it didn’t happen.
No real word on when the movie will be out, but many of the original voice cast will be back for their roles, with Richard Horvitz back as Zim, Rosearik Rikki Simons as GIR, Andy Berman as Dib and Melissa Fahn as Gaz.
