While J.K Rowling has closed the book for Harry Potter as a main character, it looks like she isn’t quite ready to put down the pen for the magical world that her characters live in.
This is following the debut of her play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and also Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them it looks like the universe isn’t going to stop expanding just yet.
The news came from Pottermore, which stated that the three new eBooks will be expanding the story of Hogwarts, being a combination of new content and writing that previously has been published on Pottermore. There will be more books lined up for release down the road that will look at other various aspects of magical culture.
The first book will be focusing on the poltergeists that roam Hogwart’s halls, with extra content on characters like Quirinus Quirrell and Dolores Umbridge. It will also look at the darker side of the magical world as seen through the most popular school this side of the wizarding world.
The second book will focus on heroic acts seen by Hogwarts over the years and will divulge new information on Professor McGonagall and Remus Lupin.
The final book will be released sometime this fall, and will be talking entirely about the hidden and secret rooms for the four Hogwarts houses; inclusive of those never mentioned in the original series.
Each eBook will be about 10,000 words long and will be available for $2.99 through the Pottermore shop and other digital retailers 6 September 2016.
