Anime!Anime! recently ran a poll on its website to determine which were fans favourite opening anime themes. Here are the results.
The poll ran relatively recently; polling readers from 6 to 12 November with a grand total of 1,288 responses. The gender ratio was almost equal, with a slight male majority. However its interesting to note that about half of the respondents were in their 10s so we guess recent works are being picked up more by the younger crowd.

Its no surprise that these made it to the top three, considering how catchily upbeat the first two are and how the Attack on Titan OP gets your blood pumping. However it doesn’t mean the rest are any lesser by comparison.

Neon Genesis Evangelion’s theme song, “Zankoku na Tenshi no Thesis,” somehow didn’t make it on the list. Anime!Anime! is currently conducting tallying another poll on their fave ending themes but we’ll find out soon when the results are announced.
