Perfume is getting their very own feature in Shogakukan’s Weekly Big Comic Spirits this September and it will include their very own mini Manga.
The band will feature prominently on the cover, and inside the Perfume: Total Power Feature – Past, Present, Future- will include artwork of the band as drawn by seven different manga artists. Think of it as a look back at their performance costumes and gravure photos though the eyes of said manga artists.
Among the artists taking part in illustrating the feature are Kazuhiro Fujita (Ushio & Tora) ,Shohei Manabe (Ushijima the Loan Shark) and Kaoru Curry-waza (Kremlin) which will draw the Perfume: Seichi Junrei manga as well.
Perfume‘s latest single “If you wanna” is set to drop on 30 August so this is a great tie in if you’re a fan of the band.
