DC’s CW spinoff series Legends of Tomorrow is getting a new character, and since the series deals with time travel it only makes sense that Jonah Hex makes his appearance.
Jonah Hex was previously adapted for the movies, as portrayed by Josh Brolin ages and ages ago.
The movie flopped and Brolin won’t be reprising his role for this though. There’s currently no info on who will be taking over the role of Hex, but they’ve stated that he will appear in episode 11. Maybe he will be a recurring character? we don’t know yet.
This is what they have to say about his appearance:
“Ever since we decided that Legends would involve time travel, we were eager to do a story set in the Old West. But if you’re going to do a story set in the DC Universe version of the Old West, you simply must include Jonah Hex in it. We’re thrilled about bringing another well known, beloved DC character to television.”
