Over the past couple of weeks, Josh Gad has taken to Twitter and teased a connection he might be sharing with one of the most iconic villains in the Batman Rogue Gallery, The Penguin. Now, he just dropped the biggest hint yet.

The photo above shows Josh Gad with two very important men in the DCEU – Jon Berg and Geoff Johns – with the caption “Nothing to see here..” But perhaps the most prominent hint is the fact that he’s holding a Batman comic with iconic villain The Penguin on it.
While this is super exciting, everyone (myself included) should calm their tits as an official casting release is yet to be made. A few months ago, the likes of Ryan Reynolds, Pierce Brosnan and Hugh Jackman were supposedly teasing something for Deadpool 2, but that turned out to be nothing but a troll.
In a recent interview with MTV News, Josh Gad had this to say:
[I’m] just having some fun. Just having some fun! Really, I promise! There’s nothing to…there’s no there there. The internet just goes wild. I’m just having some fun putting things out there.
Also, since we’re talking about the DCEU…
