Ever wondered what a film about a blood thirsty shopping cart would be like? Killer Kart is a campy 80’s inspired short that involves a lot of screaming and a ridiculous amount of blood.
Released earlier this year, the short was created by director James Feeney and the short is a fun gore-soaked adventure that gets, well, pretty creative with all the ways you could die by shopping cart.
The film has also been nominated with 37 awards and has been shown at 79 festivals worldwide thus far. That’s pretty good for a “b-grade movie” and goes to show that you don’t need prestige to make something truly enjoyable. Just look at tagline!
The shopping cart. Four wheels, one basket, and tonight, for the closing crew of a small-town grocery store, a blood-splattered aluminum nightmare!
Seems like Killer Kart is a great little horror short to start getting into the Halloween feel. Do head on over to their Facebook page to show them your support if you like it.
