Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice) is finally getting released in the Philippines. After more than two weeks since its postponement from its original April 15 release date, the distributor, Pioneer Films, has finally managed to lock down a proper release date for the anime movie.
For many of you anime fans in the Philippines, we know since the postponement announcement, you’ve been waiting eagerly for a confirmed release date for Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice). Well, you can mark May 10 on your calendars as that will be the date the anime movie will be released in Philippine theatres.
Which theatres it’ll be released in? That has yet to be confirmed though the Pioneer Films representative we contacted did say that they will be posting a list of movie theatres in the Philippines that will be carrying the Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice) a day before (May 9) the movie will be released.
This is good news for many fans as the movie has been feted with many glowing reviews (including ours) and we’re pretty sure there are many that can’t wait to catch it in theatres. Hopefully, this is the last of the rescheduling drama that Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice) will have in the Philippines and we all can just finally watch the movie.
