The merchandise tie-in TVCM for Kokosake or Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda (心が叫びたがってるんだ )/ The Anthem of the Heart is pretty endearing. Meanwhile the new trailer gives the latest look at the feature film scheduled for screening in Japan on 19 September 2015. What is notable about this work is the team behind it, the same folks who did the critically acclaimed AnoHana is back together again – Tatsuyuki Nagai (director), Mari Okada (writer) and Masayoshi Tanaka (character designer).
Japanese chocolate maker Meiji posted second collaboration campaign featuring both titles by the said production team above. Ai Kayano, the voice actress who played Menma in Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai/Anohana sings the company commercial theme song for its chocolate brand.
Right now, 1000 lucky people will get a set of two 500 yen (US$4) QUO prepaid cards featuring original illustrations of heroine in both AnoHana and KokoSake (Menma and Jun Naruse) if they send a receipt for selected chocolate products to the company. This particular campaign runs from 2 July to 16 October.
Confirmed castings are Inori Minase (Aldnoah Zero, Black Bullet) as the heroine Jun Naruse, Sora Amamiya (Aldnoah Zero, Akame ga Kill!) as a lovelorn super student Natsuki Nido, Kouki Uchiyama (Amagi Briliiant Park!, Barakamon) as morose and honest male lead Takumi Sakagam and Yoshimasa Hosoya (Aldnoah Zero, Akame ga Kill!) as the former baseball ace Daiki Tazaki.
