The latest rumour regarding Jon Snow is quite incredible if it is indeed true.
A source has tipped the Watchers on the Wall that Kit Harrington, the actor of Jon Snow is at the filming site Saintfield near Ireland alongside Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton). It is strongly suggested that this is the climax sequence for the ninth episode of the Season Six. The source insisted that “the battle will involve many northern armies fighting including the Umbers, the Boltons, wildlings and more.”
This is pretty curious considering the official HBO stance is that Jon Snow is confirmed dead at the end of Season Five.
Besides this, legendary actor Max von Sydow has been cast as Three-Eyed Raven, the tutor of some sort to Bran Stark who is also returning for Season Six. Ian McShane (Deadwood) is going to be in the upcoming season with an unspecified role with Richard E.Grant (Dr. Who) in a possible flashback sequence. Pilou Asbaek (Borgen) has also been given the role of fan favourite Euron Greyjoy, uncle of Theon Greyjoy aka Reek.
On the side note, in the interview with EW, the author George R.R. Martin wants to publish the sixth book The Winds of Winter before the airing of Game of Thrones Season Six in 2016.
