It’s been a long wait but LEGO will finally be bringing its Star Wars Ultimate Collector’s Series (UCS) Millennium Falcon (75192) set to stores starting tomorrow (1 October 2017).
The set will be available at all LEGO Certified Stores in Malaysia as well as the guys over at www.brickmagic.asia. Retailing at RM3,499 this is going to be one of the biggest sets to ever hit our LEGO stores.
If you didn’t manage to get the pre-order of the set from Impulse, tomorrow’s your chance to grab hold of the set. Too bad it’ll be at normal retail price and not the RM3,199 pre-order that Impulse was giving out.
This massive 7,451 piece Star Wars LEGO set celebrates both the 40th anniversary of the Star Wars franchise and the 10th year since the launch of the UCS Millennium Falcon (10179).
With the official announcement and launch of the Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192), we can finally see just what we’ll be getting from the set.
In terms of dimensions, the Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) is exactly identical to its predecessor and is one of the bigger playsets that have come out of LEGO. We did initially speculate that the set would come with more Minifigures than its predecessor and we’re right.
While the Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (10179) came with 5 Minifigures, the new set comes with eight. Four of the minifigures are from the classic Star Wars trilogy; Han Solo, Chewbacca, Leia Organa and C-3PO. The other four are the new Star Wars series and includes an older Han Solo, Rey, Finn and BB-8. Also included are 2 buildable
Also included are 2 buildable pogs and a buildable mynock. So if you’re to include those 3, there’s a total of eight characters that come with the set!
Another thing to note about the set is that it comes with two interchangeable radar dishes (as you can see below), one from the classic trilogy and the other from the new trilogy.
While the UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) may look like its predecessor on the exterior, the interior is another matter. This time around, the set gets a proper interior, something which was not seen in the UCS Millennium Falcon (10179) set.
There’s the classic Dejarik holographic table, the engine room, gunnery stations and a whole lot more. That explains why the UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) has 2,000 pieces more than the 5,174 pieces the original had.
