That’s right. Lego‘s having a contest for your young aspiring builders to help design something new for their new Lego Friends playset! Read on for more details.
In celebration of Lego Friends’ 5th anniversary, this contest is happening worldwide, but it’s also a chance for Malaysian kids to shine! Heartlake City is one of Lego’s next sets and they’re looking for ideas for the next social hangout spot in the city; and if they win, their design will be included as part of the set and be sold worldwide, with a personalized minidoll of your child’s likeness!
Children aged 6 to 12 are eligible to join and you only need to follow three simple steps:
Upload four pictures of the model design from four angles and give it a short description and creative title to explain the inspiration behind the piece. After that, submit the entry on Facebook via the LEGO Facebook application before 28 February 2017.
Only one idea will be chosen and turned into an actual model for the LEGO Friends playset and sold at Toys R Us stores worldwide.
The grand prize winner for this contest will get the chance to visit LEGO headquarters in Billund, Denmark and become the LEGO Friends designer, participating in every step of the design process of the final model to be sold globally. The winner will also be represented as one of the minidolls featured in the final model.
