Japanese fans are buzzing excitedly about a possible live-action movie adaptation of Naoshi Arakawa’s Your Lie in April/四月は君の嘘 aka Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso or KimiUso for short. This is caused by a discovery of the registered  KIMIUSO-MOVIE.JP domain early this week by Toho, one of Japan’s major theatrical/distribution companies.

The manga ran from 2011 to 2015, being quite successful and winning the award for Best Shonen Manga at the 37th Kodansha Manga Awards plus a nomination for 5th Manga Taisho. Late last year, A-1 Pictures adapted it into a 22 episode anime series under the Noitamina slot by FujiTV. The sales of the anime Blurays and DVDs have been quite successful.
