You heard it folks, the game is finally here!
Announced about a month ago, Wizards of the Coast promised that the PC launch will follow soon after the iOS release of Magic Duels Origins and the game is now available for download.
Origins is set to update with new packs and cards when new sets come out to keep the game up to date with the current Standard cards as time progresses, with the main draw of the game being focus on the backstories five planeswalkers. In a nutshell, the game is attempting to replicate the tabletop experience with hopes to draw the casual gamer in and maybe have them start playing Magic in the physical realm as well.
The game still has some connectivity bugs, but they’re working hard to dispel the problems so we should be able to enjoy the game in its fullest very very soon.
