Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha is getting a new spinoff series called Vivid Strike! and will feature an original story.
The official website launched today alongside lists for its main cast, staff and voice cast. The teaser image looks like Nanoha Takamachi, the protagonist of the original Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha anime series and franchise.
The new story comes from the creator of the Nanoha franchise, Masaki Tsuzuki, alongside Takuya Fujima for original character designs. He’s also worked on the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid manga series in the past.
Vivid series characters will be returning, inclusive of protagonist Vivio Takamachi as well as voice cast from the Vivid TV anime from 2015 will be back to pick up their roles. Seven Arcs will be working on the anime as well, having also produced three Nanoha TV series and two films prior.
