A fan event for fans by fans, this event celebrates the retro video games and consoles that made up our childhoods, particularly Nintendo‘s rich gaming history.
Running on 19 November this year at Berjaya Times Square, the event is open for all starting at 10am to 9pm.
The branchild of the guys behind Kyo’s Game Mart and Zendersons Store, this would be the first in a series of Retro Video Game Events to take place in the country; this one focusing on Nintendo Home and Handheld consoles.
They’ll also be celebrating the launch of the Nintendo Entertainment System Classic Edition and Pokemon Sun and Moon at the event.
You’ll get to play with retro consoles from the original NES all the way to the WiiU, try your hand at retro games, and maybe take home a console or two! There’s also a gaming tournament (Donkey Kong, Mario Kart Wii and Mario Bros) and a video game themed cosplay competition.
If those aren’t your cup of tea, you can still browse merch from the Zendersons Store or Kyo’s Game Mart, or grab a bite of Brownies and Soy Milk courtesy of Soya Tok Perak.
