Indian smartphone manufacturer, Xolo, claims that it has built the world lightest smartphone model – the Q900s Plus. How light you’re wondering? Well it only weighs around 100g according to its makers.
The model runs on Android KitKat 4.4 and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 1.2GHz quad-core CPU with 1GB of RAM. The phone is not going to wow anyone (aside from its lightness) as it is a low-end model. Like most of the phones in that range, it features an 8MP rear camera and 2MP front facing camera. There’s internal storage of 8GB whichcan be supplemented by microSD card up to 32G. The battery capacity is rated at 1,800mAh and it sports a 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 pixel resolution OGS IPS display which includes a Dragon Trail Glass protection with dimensions measured at 135.8 x 67.2 x 7.2 mm.
The phone is retailing at Indian Rupee 8,299 (RM460) on Xolo’s site so you know it’s targeted mainly at the lower end market.
